Just curious.... Are most of you on here still students or have you graduated? I must be so old school cause I don't recognize any of you :)

I think for the most part you are the only long time graduate, most of the folks in here are current students, though there are a small handful who have recently graduated in the past few months, and then a few more who will be graduating next month.

Ah, i see :) That's cool. Yea, there aren't many of us left from the single digit classes, i still remember the class before me had to wear hardhats, lol! Back when Andrew was still a teacher and not the director.

Oh yea, i know. After I left, Rob the last director went back to Academy and they moved Andrew up. Haha, you guys are soo lucky you missed the drama from the first 10 classes there, i finished class 4. I can pretty much sum it up to us being "guinea pigs".

          Advice for y'all.....

Learn to be as resourceful on your own because when you get into the industry, there sometimes is no instruction manual for everything you do and you sit there wondering how the idiot that's your manager/producer/cto/ceo got there. And if you're in the game industry, you have to learn to acomodate your game engine cause it constantly changes during a game cycle. Smaller companies are more fun cause you get more say in the art, but sometimes unstable. Bigger companies can be sweatshops and also have people who think they're producer/art director/marketing/game designer at the same time (that shit DOES NOT work!)

I started class 4, and ended class 4 :) Aug 2000- DVM Guinea pigs

My coworker/ex'pression alum and i still trip how long its been since we finished school. Time flies when you're outta school and making enough money to eat more than ramen and mac n' cheese, lol.

Nice site Casey! Haha, its funny cause i went there for art, but now i'm getting more into music again. I just don't feel like forking out more cash to that school, so i'm learning things on my own.

www.misschula.com Don't have any artwork besides my webdesign on there, things still in construction.

Haha, i'm glad I got out when I did too. The economy went to shit a year after I finished and I would assume it was harder to be a student finding their first job.

I dont have a mix up, but I will be posting it up on www.misschula.com Fuckin protools.... I'm getting an unclean mix through the mbox and haven't had chance to sit down and debug it. Yea, i've played with reason, protools, but got the farthest with a Emu-mp7. I'm getting back into real instruments like the guitar, congas and my violin...
